PB-Barzani meeting was consultative

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: Yesterday’s quadripartite meeting between the Iraqi Presidential Board (PB) and the president of the Kurdistan region was consultative and meant to prepare for further meetings, a leader from the Kurdistan Alliance (KA) said on Thursday. “Further meetings will be held in Baghdad to resolve pending issues,” MP Mahmoud Othman told IraqiNews.com. A quadripartite meeting including President Jalal al-Talabani; his deputies, Adel Abdelmahdi and Tareq al-Hashemi, and the president of the Kurdistan region, Massoud al-Barzani, took place yesterday at Dukan resort, Sulaimaniya province to discuss the U.S. troop withdrawal agreement as well as other domestic issues.
