PM accuses unnamed bodies of stirring up trouble with Saudi Arabia

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: Iraqi Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki has accused unnamed bodies of stirring up trouble with Saudi Arabia, stressing that channels of communication will remain open with the Gulf country. “My visit to Saudi Arabia was good, but some of those who do not want any good for Arab relations have interfered and problems arose,” Maliki said during his meeting with the editors-in-chief of Egyptian newspapers, according to a statement released by his office and received by Iraqi News. “We are still trying to reach out to Saudi Arabians and the Saudi government,” Maliki noted. Maliki expressed his hopes for good relations with Saudi Arabia. “Our relations with the rest of the countries have  resumed…,” Maliki added. SS (P)/SR 1
