Political Committee of SIIC re-nominates Hakim as its Head

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The General Political Committee of the Supreme Iraqi Islamic Council re-nominated, Ammar al-Hakim, as its Head.

A concluding statement issued by the Committee received by IraqiNews.com cited “The members of the General Political Committee elected the member of the Leading Committee by nominating Hakim as the Head of the SIIC.”

“The Political Committee issued a statement explaining the future general policy of the SIIC,” the statement concluded.
