Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Deputy Chairman of the Commission of Integrity, MP Ahmed al-Jubouri, attributed the foot-dragging of performance of the Integrity Commission to the political disputes among the blocs, noting that “The political disputes hinder the work of the Commission in fighting the administrative and financial corruption in the State’s institutions.”

Jubouri said “The corruption spread in all institutions is an extension to the political corruption adopted by some political parties from the date they held the authority after the fall of the former regime in 2003,” referring that “The solutions were not up to the ambitions and the Integrity Commission alone is insufficient to combat the scourge of this serious corruption.”

“Huge amounts of money have been spent but there is no progress in providing the services with the increase of the capitals of some officials on other hand,” he asserted.
