Premier Maliki meets French armament companies

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: Premier Nouri Al-Maliki discussed with a French delegation consisting of representatives from the French ministry of defense and armament companies, calling for expanding bilateral cooperation between the two countries in all fields, particularly the military industry. A statement issued by Maliki’s office added that “all doors are open for French companies to participate in the reconstruction process taking place in the country.” On the other side, the French delegation expressed hopes to exert efforts to work jointly with Iraq, the statement said. The statement added that the delegation delivered a written message from French Premier François Fillon inviting Maliki to visit Paris. RM (TS)/SR 398
