PUK: All options including early elections Possible to settle current crisis

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Patriotic Union of Kurdistan, headed by the President, Jalal Talabani, announced that “All options including the early elections are possible to be adopted to settle the current political crisis.”

A statement by the PUK cited “At the current stage, a number of PUK members launched various statements concerning the situation in Iraq but we confirm that these statements are personal while the official viewpoints adopted by the PUK are issued through the joint leadership of the Union.”

“If the political dilogue failed, the option of conducting the early elections will be discussed as one of the possible solution for the crisis,” the statement concluded.
