Rasoul: SLC statements against Kurds oppose national reconciliation

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, Firhad Rasoul, of the Kurdistani Alliance confirmed “The statement of the State of Law Coalition against the Kurds oppose the national reconciliation process in Iraq.”

He stated to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) “The statements launched by MP, Yasin Majeed, do not serve the national reconciliation especially at this time where the President, Jalal Talabani, exert his efforts to gather the political leaders to reach a solution for the crisis.”

He added “Not only Talabani is upset for such statements rather all the sides since the Kurds are a basic component in Iraq without them, the government can not continue,” he concluded.

It is worth mentioning that MP, Yasin Majid, has accused Barzani of being “A danger to the economy and security of Iraq where he wants Kurdistan Region to have a powerful political role rather than Baghdad and the Pishmirga elements to replace the IA.”
