Rasoul, UNAMI delegation discuss disputes between Kurdistan RegionG, FG

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Vice-President of Kurdistan Region, Kosrat Rasoul, and a delegation from the United Nations Assistance Mission to Iraq discussed the disputes between the Kurdistani Regional Government and the Federal Government.

A statement issued by Kurdistan RegionG cited “Rasoul received the delegation where both sides stressed the necessity of solving the disputes through the dialogue and the democratic decision.”

“Rasoul called the UNAMI to cooperate with Kurdistan Region to apply Article 140 of the constitution and all the disputes as he confirmed that Kurds are always support the peaceful solution for the problems to achieve coexistence with the other communities of Iraq,” the statement added.

“The delegation promised to keep on the cooperation and the support for Kurdistan Region to serve the democratic process,” the statement concluded.
