Remains of Iranian soldiers recovered in Basra

BASRA / IraqiNews.com: Remains of Iranian soldiers who were killed during the Iraqi-Iranian war will be recovered at a battle site in Basra, a local human rights director said on Tuesday. “The process will be done by the Human Rights Ministry and in cooperation with the Human Rights Office in Basra and the Basra Operations Command,” Mahdi al-Tamimi told IraqiNews.com news agency. The remains will be handed over to the Iranian authorities, in accordance with protocols signed between the two countries, he added.
