Saad calls Abadi to grant women their rights when forming next government

 

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The former MP, Suzan al-Saad, of the Iraqi National Alliance called the MP-designate Haider al-Ebadi, to grant women their right in forming the next government.

She said in a press statement received by IraqiNews.com “Women’s representation in the government is less than 25% and they were not granted their rights in the ministerial posts where only the State Minister for the Woman Affairs is what they got.”

“Due to their active role and sacrifices in building Iraq, women need to be completely granted their rights in the next government,” she concluded. /End/
