Saad warns Kuwait from exploiting Media to revoke Iraqis’ feelings
Baghdad (IraqiNews.com)-MP Suzan al-Saad warned Kuwait from the use of the instigating media represented by displaying the Series (Saher al-Lail – Wattan al-Nahar) from bringing the two countries to bad consequences through spreading the spirit of hatred between the two peoples, especially in the holy month of Ramadan.
She said in a statement to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) that “The events of the Kuwaiti series, which is now displayed on some Arab satellite channels, are distorted and show the negative aspects only of the that black period in order to widen the gap to exceed the limits of hatred and alienation existing inside some of the Kuwaiti officials to reach the Kuwaiti people.”
MP Saad, from Basra province, added “The People who were behind preparing this series aim to plant sedition and strengthen the spirit of hatred and rancor among the both Peoples of Iraq and Kuwait, especially because they did not get into the positive aspects of that time and what had been issued by the Shiite religious leadership in Najaf which tabooed the Iraqi army’s entry into Kuwait and attacking the Kuwaiti people, which resulted in disobedient of the IA soldiers who either departed their units towards Rafha Camps in Saudi Arabia or returned to Iraq to face execution punishment.”
“The Kuwaiti People and government should not have display this full of hatred series which reminds of events that happened 20 years ago or destroy the Iraqi economy through establishing Mubarak Harbor, arresting and humiliating Iraqi fishermen or even keeping Iraq under the terms of the UN Charters’ 7th chapter in order to avoid spreading the hatred among the coming generations,” she concluded.
