Sadoun calls to conduct PCs elections on time

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, Mohsin al-Sadoun of the Kurdistani Alliance called “To avoid postponing the elections of the Provincial Councils.”

Speaking to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com), he said “The PCs elections represent a public event that should be conducted on time.”

“Through these elections, the people will be represented in their provinces and the best services will be presented to them,” he concluded.

Earlier, the head of the Independent High Electoral Commission, Faraj al-Haidari, ruled out conducting the elections of the Provincial Councils due to the insufficient financial allocations.
