Sadr denies receiving response about his message from SLC

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The head of the Sadr Trend, Muqtada al-Sadr, denied receiving any response about his message, which involves nine points sent to the Iraqi National Alliance, from the State of Law Coalition yet.

In a joint press conference with the head of the Iraqi National Congress, Ahmed al-Chalabi, attended by IraqiNews.com reporter “We didn’t receive any positive or negative replies from the SLC.”

“We will declare our stance after the end of the specified period,” he added.

Sadr describes Chalabi’s visit to him as friendly and denied any its relation to holding an expected five -side meeting in Najaf.

Over postponing the meeting of the INA which was decided on last Wednesday, Chalabi said “We do not have information over the reason behind postponing the meeting.”

The head of the Iraqi National Congress, Ahmed al-Chalabi, visited the head of the Sadr Trend, Muqtada al-Sadr in Najaf province.
