Sadr rejects excluding Maliki, his party

Najaf (IraqiNews.com) The head of the Sadr Trend, Muqtada al-Sadr, rejected excluding the Premier, Nouri al-Maliki, and the Dawa Islamic Party headed by Maliki if the political sides withdrew confidence from the current government.

In response to a question by one of his followers over excluding Maliki or his Party if the government was toppled, he said “I promise to grant Maliki some posts to be a partner in running the State and building Iraq,” noting that “I will not accept marginalizing Maliki or his Party.”
