Najaf (IraqiNews.com) The head of the Sadr Trend described withdrawing confidence from the government as “Support to the oppressed people and a political parliamentary conflict.”

In response to question by one of his followers concerning reports over the intention of the followers of the Sadr Trend to demonstrate in Najaf to show Sadr’s right to call for reformation, he said “We need to calm down the situation during these days and such reports aim to disturb the situation in Najaf province.”

“Withdrawing confidence from government is political parliamentary conflict and I do not want to involve the Iraqi people in this conflict because it will affect their benefits,” he added.

“Withdrawing the confidence is to support the oppressed people in order to get their rights back,” he concluded.
