Sadrist MP: No need for Iraq to mediate between USA, Iran

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, Asmaa al-Mousawi, of al-Ahrar bloc within the Sadr Trend stated “There is no need for Iraq to mediate between USA and Iran.

Speaking to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com), she said “We are not tasked to mediate between the two because they contact each other directly and positively affect their political, security and economic situations of the region.”

“These two big countries do no need Iraq to mediate and we are not forced to in spite of our good relations with these two countries,” she concluded.
