Sadrist MP reveals new deal among Erbil opposition sides over cooperation in parliament

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, Amir al-Kinani, of the Ahrar bloc within the Sadr Trend revealed reaching “A new deal among the opposition sides of Erbil meeting over the cooperation in the parliament regarding the endorsement of the laws,” noting that “The deal was over two things, the first is to preserve the resources of the State and the second is to preserve democracy in Iraq.”

Speaking to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com), he said “The Sadr Trend, Iraqiya Slate and the Kurdistani Alliance have agreed to cooperate in the parliament over endorsing the law drafts and not endorsing any law draft that affects democracy and the political process in Iraq.”

Regarding the investigation of the Prime Minister, Nouri al-Maliki, he said “This issue is related to other sides while the Ahrar bloc has shown its road map and will vote on this issue if discussed.”
