Sadrist MP: Saudi Arabia tries to isolate Iraq from Islamic Community

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, Oudai Awad, of al-Ahrar bloc within the Sadr Trend considered the reason behind not inviting Iraq to the Islamic Conference that was held in Mecca is revealed the bad intention of the Saudi Arabia towards Iraq which shows the Islamic extremism adopted by Saudi Arabia.

In a press statement received by IraqiNews.com on Thursday, he said “The absence of Iraq from the Islamic Conference is of Saudi purposes especially in this period of time where it support the extremists and the terrorism groups where the presence and participation of Iraq will affect the Saudi intentions and the resolutions of the Conference.”

“Iraq might not be obliged to the resolution of the Conference and this does not mean that Iraq is out of the Arabic community and the Islamic world where it has to activate its relations with the Islamic countries away from the affect of the Saudi Arabic in the region,” he concluded.
