Sadrist MP: Withdrawing confidence from Maliki to reform State system

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, Jawad al-Jobouri, pointed out “The process of withdrawing confidence from the Premier, Nouri al-Maliki, is a way to reform the system of ruling the State.”

Speaking to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com), he said “This is the last option that we have for reformation which include adopting the partnership, respecting the constitution and adhering to the former agreements like Erbil Agreement.”

“The current political efforts conducted by the Sadr Trend are beyond the limitations of the sectarianism and nationalism,” he concluded.

Earlier, the spokesperson of the IS, Maysoun al-Damlouji, stated to IraqiNews.com “We managed to get the required signatures to withdraw confidence from Maliki,” noting that “The MPs’ signatures were collected from all the blocs.”
