Salih arrives in Tehran

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Deputy Secretary General of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan, Barham Salih, arrived in the Iranian Capital Tehran, on Tuesday.

A statement by the PUK received by IraqiNews.com cited “Salih arrived in Tehran accompanied by a delegation from the PUK in response to an invitation from the Iranian Foreign Ministry.”

“A number of Iranian officials and the Iraqi Ambassador to Tehran in addition to the representative of Kurdistan Regional Government have received Salih in Tehran Airport,” the statement added.

“Salih is supposed to meet the Iranian FM, Ali Akbar Salihi, to discuss bilateral relation,” the statement concluded.
