Salih, Davutoglu discuss mutual relations

Erbil (IraqiNews.com) The Secretary General of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan, Burham Salih, discussed with the Turkish Foreign Minister, Ahmet Davutoglu, the relations between Kurdistan Region and Turkey in addition to the political updates in the region.

A statement by the PUK received by IraqiNews.com on Tuesday cited “Salih, during his visit to Turkey, met Davutoglu and conveyed the greetings of the President, Jalal Talabani.”

“Salih assured the stance of the PUK over the friendly relations with the neighboring countries especially,” the statement added, noting that “Salih assured that the providing the rights of the Kurdish people will result in achieving peace and security in the region.”

“For his part, Davutoglu stated that Talabani is very effective to settle the political disputes in Iraq, reviewing the mutual relations between Kurdistan Region and Turkey,” the statement concluded.
