Salih, new US Consul in Kurdistan Region stress importance of consolidating relations

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Deputy Secretary General of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan, Barham Salih, and the new US General Consul in Kurdistan Region stressed “The importance of consolidating political and economic bilateral relations between Kurdistan Region and the US.”

A statement by the PUK cited on Thursday “Salih received the new US Consul and congratulated him on assuming his post.”

“The meeting tackled the current political updates in Iraq and Kurdistan Region in addition to the regional exceptional political changes,” the statement concluded.
