Salih, Turkmen delegation review security, administrative situations in Tuz-Khurmatu

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Secretary General of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan, Barham Salih, discussed in Erbil province with a delegation representing the Turkmen Community the security and administrative situations in Tuz-Khurmatu district of Kirkuk province.

The PUK office mentioned in a statement “the Secretary General of the PUK, Barham Salih, met in Erbil on Tuesday, the head of the Haj and Umra Committee, Mohammed Taqi al-Mawla, and the Minister of Sports and Youth, Jasim Mohammed Jafar, who headed the Shiite Turkmen delegation from Tuz- Khurmatu district.”

“The meeting focused on discussing the political situation in Iraq and Kurdistan Region as well as the security and administrative situation in Tuz -Khurmatu,” the statement added.

“thje attendees emphasized the importance of the peaceful coexistence among the different communities and sects living in Kirkuk province and Tuz district to confront the terrorist attacks conducted by terrorist groups in the district,” the statement concluded.
