Salih, US official discuss Iraqi, regional situations

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Deputy Secretary-General of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan, Barham Salih, reviewed with the US Assistant Secretary of State for Iraq affairs, Barbara Leaf, the political situation in Iraq, Kurdistan Region, and the latest developments in the region.

A statement by the website of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan today, stated that “The views of the two sides were identical in regard to the solution of the Iraqi political crisis through dialogue and on the basis of the agreements and the Constitution.”

The statement pointed out that “Both sides emphasized the importance of strengthening relations between Kurdistan Region and the United States.”
