Salihi: Kirkuk Iraqi province with "Turkmeni particularity"

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The head of the Turkmen Front within the Iraqiya Slate, MP Arshad al-Salihi, pointed out “Kirkuk is an Iraqi province with Turkmen particularity.”

Speaking to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com), he said “Kirkuk will not be with Arabic or Kurdistani identity through the chauvinism of certain sides,” noting that “Kirkuk will remain an Iraqi province with Turkmeni particularity.”

Kirkuk province, (250 KM north of Baghdad), is inhabited by various communities and sects and it is considered among the disputed area between the Central Government and Kurdistani Regional Government.
