Sayhoud accuses Qatar of attempt to topple political process

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, mohamed al-Qasier, of the State of Law Coalition accused Qatar of planning to “Topple the political process in Iraq by supporting the judicially wanted Vice-President, Tariq al-Hashimi, and supplying him with officers from Saddam’s regime to implement terrorist acts in Iraq.”

He stated to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) “The Iraqi intelligence Department revealed the Qatari Plan which aims at changing Maliki’s government and then to topple the political process.”

“The interests of Turkey, Qatar and the elements of the former regime come across in their intention to ruin Iraq,” he added, stressing that “The proof behind Hashimi’s acceptance for the Qatari offer is his rejection for submitting himself to the Iraqi judicial sides.”

“The attempt to withdraw confidence from Maliki is the beginning to the Qatari plan to enable the head of the Iraqiya Slate, Ayad Allawi, to assume the PM post then to create a chaotic situation in the country,” he concluded.
