Sayhoud: Confessionalism behind deterioration of agriculture

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, Mohamed al-Sayhoud, pointed out that “The confessionalism adopted while forming the government is the main reason behind the deterioration of the agricultural situation in Iraq.”

Speaking to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com), he said “There is no vivid strategy followed by the Ministry of Agriculture in Iraq which an agricultural country.”

“The industry, trade and agriculture all together are suffering from the deterioration,” he added.

“Iraq needs professional figures to upgrade its agricultural sector in addition to the other sectors,” he concluded.
