Security, Intelligence systems in Kirkuk lack security elements, says MP

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, Khalid Shwani, of the Kurdistani Alliance stated that the security and intelligence systems in Kirkuk need more security elements to sustain security.

Speaking to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com), he stated “Kirkuk province needs more security elements including the Intelligence system in addition to the existence of the corrupted elements.”

“There are many opened areas of southern Kirkuk that need to be protected in order to eliminate the terrorist elements,” he added.

He called “The Interior Ministry to support the security elements in Kirkuk to stop the terrorist attacks.”

He also called “The Federal Government to settle the issue of Kirkuk and the disputed upon areas by applying Article 140 of the constitution.”
