Shara assures importance of associating religious figures to Federal Court

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP Furat al-Shara of the Citizen Bloc stressed the significance of the existence of religious figures in the Federal Court to add the Islamic legitimization on all its decisions.

Shara said in a statement to IraqiNews.com “The religious scholars help to maintain balance for the political process and grant each one his rights,” noting that “The religious scholars should be more than four members.”

The Parliament has postponed the vote on the law drafts of the Federal Court and the Supreme Judiciary Council until after Eid al-Fitr for not reaching an agreement by the political blocs about these laws.
