Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Deputy Premier, Ruz Nouri Shawees, received a delegation from Fadhila Islamic Party at his office on Saturday.
A statement by Shawees’ Office received by IraqiNews.com cited “The delegation involved the Secretary General of the FIP, Hashim al-Hashimi, and his deputy, Jamal Abdul Zahra, in addition to the member of the Political Bureau, Kareem al-Yaqoubi, and the Minister of Justice, Hasan al-Shimmari,” noting that “The meeting was attended by the Head of the Iraqi Army Joint Command, Babakir Zebari in addition to member of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan.”
“Both sides discussed the means of solving political crisis and the importance of adopting the Reforms Proposal of the Iraqi National Alliance,” the statement added.
“The regional situation and its impact on Iraq were discussed also,” the statement concluded.
