Shawees, Iranian Ambassador discuss mutual cooperation

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Deputy Premier, Ruz Nouri Shawees, and the Iranian Ambassador to Iraq, Hasan Danayi Fir, discussed bilateral relations and the means of upgrading the mutual cooperation between the two countries.

A statement by Shawees’s office received by IraqiNews.com cited “Shawees received Fir on Wednesday,” noting that “Fir praised the result of the Iraqi delegation which was headed by Shawees.”

“The visit consolidated the mutual relations and cooperation,” the statement added.

“Shawees confirmed that the two countries are linked by historical relations and mutual interests,” the statement concluded.
