Shihili: General Amnesty Law to be discussed by parliament next week

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, Jawad al-Shihili, of Ahrar bloc announced that “The General Amnesty Law will be discussed by the parliament during the next week.”

Speaking to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com), he said “The law draft will be involved in the parliament sessions’ agenda of next week.”

“The session of last Thursday was normal but not that of much importance,” he added.

Concerning postponing the vote over the Infrastructure Law, he assured “Basically, it is rejected because it will cost the government a lot of funds which is illogical.”

Earlier, the parliament postponed voting on the general amnesty law draft due to disputes among the political blocs.
