Shirshab: Political disputes behind delay in endorsing laws

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, Adel al-Shirshab, of the State of Law Coalition attributed the delay in endorsing the law drafts to the political disputes.

He assured to IraqiNews.com “The tensions among the political sides delay the ratification of the law drafts such as the Infrastructures and Economic Reformation law drafts,” noting that “The current parliament term is about to finish and I rule out endorsing the delayed laws during this term.”

“The parliament will endorse the Budget and General Retirement laws during the current term,” he pointed out.

He concluded “The parliament observatory role is inactive and it affects all the governmental institutions.”
