Shiya urges to keep peaceful aspect of demonstrations

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP Abdul Abas Shiya of the State of Law Coalition called the political sides which support the demonstrations to “adhere to constitution and law and forbid the outlaws of forcing violent actions on the demonstrations to escalate and prolong the crisis.”

MP Shiya stated to Iraqi News Tuesday “Iraq enjoys establishing new democratic system and new political process along with a new constitution so we call all sides to refer to the constitution and follow peaceful ways to settle disputes.”

He also called to “avoid pushing the citizens towards demonstrating or allowing some bad elements of affecting the peaceful aspect of the demonstrations.”
