SLC MP describes granting 17% of Infrastructure law to Kurdistan Region as "Unfair"

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, Huda Sajad, of the State of Law Coalition described granting 17% of the Infrastructure law draft to Kurdistan Region as “Unfair where the ration of this law draft must be equally distributed to all the provinces including Kurdistan Region.”

Speaking to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) , he stated “The provinces of Iraq are deprived more than the provinces of Kurdistan Region,” noting that Kurdistan Region demanded 17% of this law draft where we rejected this demand and granted them 17% of what is allocated to the other provinces.”

“There will be a high committee that will follow up implementing this law draft which comprises a representative of Kurdistan Region to check the projects that serve Kurdistan Region,” she added, assuring that “We support granting 17% of the Infrastructure law draft to the ministries and not to Kurdistan Region or the other provinces.”

“The political blocs were pressurized to increase the ration of the poor people from two to four Billions,” she concluded.
