SLC MP: Regional sides behind attempts to topple Maliki

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, Salman al-Mousawi, of the State of Law Coalition stated that “A regional plan is prepared to topple the government of the Prime Minister, Nouri al-Maliki.”

Speaking to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com), he stated “Ali Hussien Nijad, the translator of, Maryam Rajavi, the head of the Iranian opposition, Mujahedeen-e-Khalq Organization, revealed that there is a regional plan, set by Qatar, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Turkey to topple Maliki by supporting some political sides in Iraq with cooperation with Qaeda Organization and elements of previous regime.”

In Regard to the call of the head of the Sadr Trend, Muqtada al-Sadr, over holding a referendum over withdrawing confidence from Maliki, MP Mousawi stated “We do support Sadr’s call where the Iraqi people decide to choose their PM rather than the MPs because the process of gathering the votes is forged.”

Earlier, Nijad, the translator of, Maryam Rajavi, the head of the Iranian opposition, revealed “The MKO has a high coordination with the Qaeda Organization,” adding that “MKO coordinate with Iraqi political sides to topple the government of the Premier, Nouri al-Maliki.”
