SLC MP: Security ministers’ names to be submitted to parliament after Eid al-Fitr

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, Abdul Salaam al-Maliki, of the State of Law Coalition revealed that the names of the candidates of the security ministers will be submitted to the parliament after the holiday of Eid al-Fitr.

In a press statement received by IraqiNews.com on Wednesday “The names of the candidates for the Interior and Defense Ministries will be submitted to the parliament after the holiday of Eid al-Fitr which is within the reforms plan adopted by the Iraqi National Alliance to settle the current crisis.”

“This issue will help to conduct deals among the political blocs that the INA aims to achieve in order to include them within the reforms proposal as one of the settlements of the political disputes,” he added.

“Sending the names of those candidates is to show the seriousness of the INA and the government to achieve all the reforms in all the aspects of the political crisis,” he pointed out, noting that “The reforms proposal will be an honor covenant to all where the political blocs have to cooperate with the INA to achieve this covenant.”
