Source: Erbil Monday meeting devoted for Consultation

Erbil (IraqiNews.com) A meeting was held in Erbil involved representatives of Iraqiya Slate, Kurdistani Alliance, Sadr Trend on Monday evening to discuss about the results of the two previous meetings held in Erbil and Najaf provinces earlier.

A source from the meeting stated to IraqiNews.com “The meeting was attended by the President of Kurdistan Alliance, Masoud Barzani, the head of the Iraqiya Slate, Ayad Allawi, the Speaker Osama al-Nijaifi, the Deputy Premier, Salih al-Mutleg, and a delegation from Sadr Trend involved the Spokesman of the Trend, Salah al-Ubaidi, and Mustafa al-Yaqoubi,” noting that “The meeting was devoted for consultation rather than issuing certain decisions.”

“All the options are possible but decisions were postponed till a meeting which will be held on next Tuesday,” the source added.

The source expected Tuesday meeting to “Witness the presence of more figures and to result in decisive stance concerning withdrawing confidence from the Premier, Nouri al-Maliki, and other issues.”
