Speaker heads to Cairo on official visit

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: Iraqi Parliament Speaker Iyad al-Samarraie on Sunday will head to the Egyptian capital, leading a parliamentary delegation on an official visit that aims to facilitate coordination between the parliaments of both countries, according to an official statement. “The visit comes in response to an invitation from the Egyptian Parliament Speaker, Ahmed Fathi Sarour,” according to a statement released by the Parliament’s presidency and received by IraqiNews.com news agency.
