State of Law accuses Iyad Allawi with escalation of differences

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: A Member of the State of Law Coalition , led by Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki, has charged the Leader of al-Iraqiya Coalition, Iyad Allawi, with stepping up differences with the State of Law .   “Iraq’s President Jalal Talabani had expressed hope that other politicians won’t adopt the stepping up of the media campaigns after his recent initiative,” Ali al-Shilah told IraqiNews.com news agency, charging “al-Iraqiya Leader, Iyad Allawi with having tried to complicate the crisis and stepping up the differences between him and the State of Law Coalition.”   Iraq had witnessed a political crisis since its 2010 nationwide elections, in the background of distrust between the two largest coalitions in the Parliament and the government, the State of Law and al-Iraqiya Coalitions.   Al-Iraqiya Coalition demands the implementation of Arbil Agreement, proposed by Kurdistan President, Massoud Barzani, that paved the way for the formation of the government on 21/12/2010, whilst the State of Law says that the majority of the Agreement’s items had been implemented and the remaining differences could be settled through talks.   SKH (IT) 315
