Suhail: Oil Ministers of Central Government, Kurdistan RegionG to discuss pending issues in Oil, Gas law

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The First Deputy Speaker, Qusai al-Suhail revealed a deal over discussing the pending issues of the Oil and Gas law draft by the Oil Ministers of the Central Government and Kurdistani Regional Government .

A statement by Suhail’s office received by IraqiNews.com on Wednesday cited “Suhail headed a meeting with the Oil Minister, Abdul Karim Luaibi, and the Minister of the Natural Resources in Kurdistan RegionG, Ashti Horami in one hand and the heads of the Iraqi National Alliance, the Iraqiya Slate and the Kurdistani Alliance on the other hand to discuss the Oil and Gas law draft.”

“The participants discussed the law draft of the Oil and Gas where they agreed upon holding meetings by the two Oil Ministers to discuss the pending issues in this law draft,” the statement added.

“During the meeting, Suhail stressed the importance of endorsing the important law drafts that organize the performance of the government in addition to organize the relation between Kurdistan Region and the Central Government,” the statement pointed out.”

The statement concluded “Suhail assured that the Oil and Gas law draft is on e of the crucial law drafts that are mentioned in the constitution where its items must be clear, objective and out of any future debates.”
