Syrian Authorities re-opens Yarubiya border outlet

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Syrian Authorities re-opened the Yarubiya border outlet close to Rabe’a outlet in Nineveh province on Friday.

Official source from Rabe’a outlet stated to IraqiNews.com “The outlet was re-opened by the Syrian Authorities to allow the travelers from both countries to pass through the outlet.”

“Rabe’a outlet of western Mosul received about 100 persons among them Iraqis returning home,” the source added, stressing that “About 60 Syrian trucks passed to Syria after opening the outlet.”

“There are very few travelers passed through the outlet currently while no Syrian refugees come to Iraq through Rabe’a outlet,” the source concluded.

Earlier, unidentified gunmen controlled al-Yarubiya outlet while the Syrian forces returned to control the outlet again.
