Talabani, Barzani to discuss withdrawing confidence from Maliki, says MP

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, Burhan Mohamed Faraj, of the Kurdistani Alliance pointed out “The President, Jalal Talabani, and the President of Kurdistan Region, Masoud Barzani, will discuss withdrawing confidence from the Premier, Nouri al-Maliki, and the means of solving the current political crisis during their meeting which is expected to be held between them in Erbil on Tuesday.”

He stated to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) “Both will focus on finding suitable solutions for the current crisis,” noting that “They will also discuss withdrawing confidence from Maliki especially with the vague political scene and the unidentified number for those who support the idea of withdrawing the confidence.”

“The most important issue to be discussed in the meeting is to set an end for the monopolization through a suitable law and studying the stage of post withdrawing confidence from Maliki,” he concluded.

Earlier, the President of Kurdistan Region, Masoud Barzani, headed a meeting involved the Kurdistani Alliance, the Iraqiya Slate and the Sadr Trend in Erbil on last Monday evening.
