Talabani congratulates Hollande for anniversary of French Revolution

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) the President, Jalal Talabani, congratulated the French President, Francois Hollande, for the anniversary of the French Revolution.

A presidential statement received by IraqiNews.com on Friday quoted Talabani, as saying “On behalf of the Iraqi people, I would like to congratulate you on the anniversary of the French Revolution that called for the principles of the justice, equality and independence.”

“I wish you the best healthy condition and to the French people the prosperity and to develop the mutual relations between the two countries,” he added.

It is worth mentioning that the French Revolution rose in 1789 till 1799 where France and the whole European countries were disturbed and witnessed unstable situation in all fields, resulting in toppling the Royal regime that was ruling France for several decades.
