Talabani congratulates new elected President of East Timor

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The President, Jalal Talabani, congratulated the new President of the Democratic Republic of East Timor for being elected as the new President.

Presidential statement received by IraqiNews.com quoted Talabani as saying “I am pleased to express my congratulations on this occasion.”

“We seek developing bilateral relations with your country for the interests of the two countries,” the statement concluded.
