Talabani, Khuzayi discuss suitable ways to settle crisis

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The President, Jalal Talabani, and the Vice-President, Khudhayir al-Khuzayi, discussed the suitable ways to settle the current political crisis in the country.

Presidential statement received by IraqiNews.com cited “Talabani received Khuzayi in Baghdad on Monday evening as they discussed political issues in general.”

“Both sides reviewed the means to solve the disputes through the serious dialogue on the basis of the constitution and the former agreements to reach a national solution,” the statement concluded.

Talabani conducted meetings with various political sides in Baghdad to identify the problems to set suitable solutions for them.

It is expected holding a five-sided meeting that involves the President of Kurdistan Region, Masoud Barzani, the head of the Iraqiya Slate, Ayad Allawi, the Speaker, Osama al-Nijaifi, and the Deputy Premier, Salih al-Mutleg, in Erbil on Monday to discuss the decisions of the first Erbil meeting and Najaf meeting which called the Iraqi National Alliance to replace the Premier, Nouri al-Maliki.
