Talabani, Maliki’s meeting complement for efforts exerted to settle political crisis , says MP

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The leader within the White Bloc, Aziz al-Mayahi, described the recent meeting held between The Iraqi President, Jalal Talabani, and the Prime Minister, Nouri al-Maliki, as “A complement to the steps of addressing the current political crisis.”

Mayahi welcomed this meeting, noting that “This meeting represents a step on the way of settling the existing political crisis and a completion for several meeting held earlier, between the PM Maliki and the Speaker Osama al-Nujaifi.”

He assured that “The political atmosphere is suitable now to hold the National Meeting.”

It is worth mentioning that Talabani received, on last Wednesday, Maliki with a number of officials from the Central Government at his residence in Sulaimaniya.
