Talabani mulls with British amb. security conditions

Iraq-Britain BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: Iraq’s President Jalal Talabani on Tuesday discussed with the British ambassador in Baghdad the political and security conditions in Iraq. “Talabani received Ambassador Christopher Prentice in Baghdad on Tuesday (Jan. 6) and discussed with him the security and political conditions and means to bolster bilateral relations,” said a presidential statement received by IraqiNews.com news agency. “The ambassador expressed desire to deepen ties between the two people through bringing some English sports teams to hold friendly games with Iraqi teams in Baghdad, Sulaimaniya and Arbil,” the statement added.
