Talabani, Nijaifi discuss Iraqi political crisis

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Iraqi President, Jalal Talabani, stressed the necessity to set a road map on the way of settling the political crisis and adopt fraternal dialogue that would develop acceptable and effective resolutions for the controversial issues.

A statement by the Presidency mentioned that “Talabani received, on last Saturday, the Speaker of the Iraqi Parliament, Osama al-Nijaifi, where they discussed the entire situations on the Iraqi political arena and the required steps to settle the political crisis in the country.”

Talabani assured that “He approached the completion of his meetings with the leaders of the political blocs to discuss addressing the current worsening political situation.”
