Talabani’s party calls Kurds to get ready for final result of political process
Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Patriotic Union of Kurdistan headed by the President, Jalal Talabani, called the Kurdish people to get ready for the final results that will be resulted from the political process.
A statement by the political office of the PUK, in the occasion of its 37th anniversary, cited “Iraq is facing a very hard crisis and there is a lack of confidence among the politicians where the initiatives to settle the crisis did not result in any solutions but increased the crisis.”
The statement added “Kurdistan Region and the Kurds were involved in the crisis because there are big merits between the central government and Kurdistan Region which are not settled yet. In fact, there are some concerns over these merits.”
“The current crisis and the foreign agendas in addition to the conflict among the political blocs created concerns over the future of Iraq as being a successful country, so we need to get ready to defend these merits and to get ready for any result,” the statement pointed out.
“The only condition to deal with the results of the political disputes is to unify the Kurdish people and the PUK is ready to achieve this condition.” The statement concluded.
